Krewe de Mon Frère is a brotherhood united by shared experiences, lifelong connections, and a commitment to preserving culture, tradition, and community. While we come from different generations and walks of life, we are bound by a common journey—walking the same halls at different times and forming a connection that transcends age, background, and circumstance.
Our name, Mon Frère, meaning "My Brother," reflects the foundation upon which our organization was built. To us, brotherhood is more than membership; it is a lifelong commitment to supporting one another, celebrating successes, and standing together through life's challenges.
As a Krewe, we honor the rich traditions of Mardi Gras while embracing a modern vision for fellowship and celebration. Through memorable events, meaningful relationships, and shared experiences, we bring together culture, music, community, and the spirit of Mobile Carnival in a way that is uniquely our own.
Beyond celebration, Krewe de Mon Frère is committed to serving and uplifting our community through charitable initiatives, mentorship, educational support, and civic involvement. Membership
Membership in Krewe de Mon Frère comes through personal connection. We are a brotherhood of men with shared roots in Mobile, and new brothers come to us through the men already at the table.
- Members are 25 and older.
- You honor the customs of Mobile Carnival and the spirit of the krewe.
- If there is a tie between you and the krewe, you likely already know it.
